Michelle’s 31st birthday was last week. To celebrate in style, a picnic in the park was in order. We had to move as we were taking up the space where a wedding had been booked. After the mad rush it turned out we’d planted ourselves right where the bridge made her entrance. We gave our congratulations and sang the wedding march (quietly).

So you’d be hard pressed to pull a swift one on our Niel. Seems that Michelle had the knack though so we headed for some tasty Thai this week gone to celebrate Neil’s 21st (again). Check out the slideshow.

It’s not every day that you see 90 of something. It’s not every day that you get a chance to hear the “meaning of life” (thanks Ian). We were lucky enough to do both on Sunday with the celebration of Gordon Goodwin’s 90th birthday. A man of fine taste (Verdehlo, Sauvignon Blanc, Whisky, Classical Music – Refer to the headphones), fine stories, reading and a loving family and friends. A celebration worthy of such a milestone was held and fun was had by all. Have a look at the slideshow, or the photo album.

Well, our little Shelly is pushing the envelope and decided to celebrate her last year as a 20-something with some food, booze and fun. There were people, there were presents, there were sword fights with long pieces of bamboo. A great night for all! Check out the photo’s.

So some swanky dressers convened to celebrate Julie’s (aka Jule, Jules, Jubes, JuJu, Nanna, Nanna Banga) progression through life and another milestone in her 2130th Birthday bash. ……

So, there comes a time when even I must celebrate the passing of another year in style. Rather than my usual pub event, it was time to do something worthy of note. After some pestering, a group of of my family and friends agreed to celebrate with me at the Kanimbla View Envionrmental Retreat, an eco lodge in the Blue Mountains to the west of Sydney. Well, there’s photo evidence to support this event and I’ve finally managed to get some uploaded. Check out the gallery.
