So after a bit of a hiatus, the Yum Cha Challenge Team returns for the new year. The new year brought new pastures and the team headed out of the centre of Sydney to Chatswood to visit Kam Fook. You’ll find Kam Fook on the same level as the cinemas on the 6th floor of the Westfield shopping centre. Riding those escalators helped to build and healthy appetite for chowing down on some great Yum Cha treats. We got there by 11 and easily got a table for 6. As seems to be the case for most Yum Cha venues, peak time is around 12pm – people were queued up!
Highlights – The great atmosphere, the team’s faces on trying the beancurd sweet and Greg’s face on trying the sago pudding.
Lowlights – No banana pancakes! (Apparently coming later)
