Well, this post is a little dated as we headed to the goldcoast in June.  It’s now August.  Enough said.

Anyway, myself, Jodes, Nanna and Che headed north to hit the glittering spectacle that is Brisvegas and the Goldcoast.  Jodes and Che were supposed to do the Goldcoast City to Surf with Che’s friend Kirsty, however a number of excuses later and all had bailed on the event for a more subdued weekend investigating the local nightlife.  This consisted of a trip to a pub in the Brissy suburbs (can’t remember which one!) and then venturing to a resturant followed by some Drinks in the Swinging Safari (cool with dress up clothes for the girls – very hygenic) and Melba’s (you don’t need to go to Melba’s…).  Talk of visiting one of the worlds at the Goldcoast wasn’t backed up by any affirmative action.  I reckon the Goldcoast could do with some of those surgical procedures that keeps people looking good beyond their years, a facelift!
